Highland 43, Cleveland 22--Josh Mejia rushed for two touchdowns and Matt Yriarpe threw for two more and the Bulldogs rolled up 448 yards at Cleveland.

Highland (2-3) broke a 14-14 second-quarter tie when Yriarpe connected with Jeremy Cowgill on a three-yard touchdown pass with 6:46 to play in the half.

Jose Duarte's 42-yard field goal as time expired in the first half gave Highland a 24-14 lead.

Mejia finished with 170 yards in 23 carries, scoring on runs of eight and six yards.

Yriarpe completed 11 of 13 passes for 111 yards, including a two-yard scoring pass to Ramsin Younan in the first quarter.

Matt Clark of Cleveland (3-2) had 66 yards in 15 carries.

Antwine Barfield completed 13 of 22 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns, both to Randy Bundy, who had eight receptions for 140 yards.
