Notre Dame 52, Bishop Montgomery 0--Phil Beckmann completed seven of nine passes for 156 yards and three touchdowns, and host Notre Dame (5-0-1) posted its second consecutive shutout.

Receiver Jimmy Sharp had touchdown receptions of 38 and 19 yards. He finished with three catches for 77 yards.

Miguel Armendariz rushed for 100 in eight carries, including a 68-yard touchdown run on the second play of the third quarter to make the score 31-0. He also scored on a eight-yard reception from Beckmann.

Bishop Montgomery (3-3) crossed into Notre Dame territory only twice, getting as far as the 38-yard line.

Notre Dame cashed in Bishop Montgomery's only turnover, with linebacker Jeffrey Sobel returning a fumble 30 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter.
