The Channel Islands Ballet will stage two different programs at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center. Friday's production will feature "Concerto for Two Violins and Eight Dancers," "La Bayadere pas de Six" and "Romeo and Juliet," choreographed by Yves de Bouteiller; and "Vivaldianas," choreographed by Neta Pulvernacher. Scheduled Saturday is "Alice in Wonderland," choreographed by Yves de Bouteiller.

Asian Arts

Performances to Grow will present the Khac Chi Ensemble on Friday at the Church of Religious Science in Ventura. The troupe uses rare and unique musical instruments and plays the music of the mountain people of Vietnam. The evening will include a shadow puppet theater show from Thailand, presented by Magical Moonshine Theatre.

Diva

Dale Kristien will bring her vocalizing prowess to the Gold Coast Center for the Arts' Back Lot Theater in Thousand Oaks on Saturday. Kristien, a soprano, is best known for her portrayal of Christine Daae in "Phantom of the Opera," which she performed for five years on Broadway and in Los Angeles.

Arts Jaunt

Ventura will offer art enthusiasts the Harvest ArtWalk on Saturday. The self-guided tour through the downtown area features art displays at more than 50 galleries, museums, coffeehouses and other locales. Most of the exhibits will be in an eight-block area downtown. Participants can create their own self-guided route using free maps, which will be available at information booths. Also on tap: the Ventura County Dance Alliance will present its Dance Exchange, 6-9 p.m. at Knights of Columbus Hall, 36 S. Figueroa St.
