Sylmar High's Valley Mission League home game against Kennedy on Friday night drew the largest crowd at an area City Section game this season.

The stands were so full 10 minutes before game time that administrators halted ticket sales.

More than 100 people were left standing in line, unable to gain entrance.

"The fire marshals have made it clear that people can't be standing in the aisles, and they are already doing so," said one Sylmar administrator.
