If you think a Lorenzo Booker-led running game is the sole reason for St Bonaventure's success, you haven't heard enough about the Seraphs' pass defense.
Nine players have combined for 17 interceptions in seven games, matching the team's 14-game total last season.
"The greatest part of it is that the defensive backs credit the linemen [for their success] and the linemen credit the defensive backs," Coach Jon Mack said. "We had two coverage sacks [in a 50-0 victory over Oak Park]."
