Grace Brethren Rallies to Win

R.J. Blackwell gained 134 yards and scored on runs of 18 and three yards to lead Grace Brethren to a come-from-behind, 25-16 victory over Viewpoint in a Heritage League game Saturday.

Nick Larsen completed five of nine passes for 109 yards, including a 24-yard touchdown to Scott Stemke that gave Grace Brethren (5-3, 4-2) its first lead, 19-16, in the fourth quarter.

Viewpoint (5-3, 4-2) led, 16-6, at halftime.

Faith Baptist 56, South Bay Lutheran 52--Tim D'Antonio scored on a two-yard run with 14 seconds left for host Faith Baptist (5-3, 4-2) in a Heritage League game.

D'Antonio finished with 155 yards and two touchdowns in 27 carries.

Jeff Weil added 137 yards, including scoring runs of four, 24, 18 and three yards, in 23 carries. He completed 11 of 20 passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns.

Johnny Case had six catches for 93 yards and Bryan McLachlan made 12 tackles for Faith Baptist.

South Bay Lutheran is 6-2, 4-2.

First Lutheran 32, L.A. Lutheran 6--Randy Kirchman rushed for 58 yards and one touchdown in 15 carries for the Falcons (6-2, 4-2) in a Heritage League victory at L.A. Baptist High.

Jim Elliot completed seven of 16 passes for 115 yards and two touchdowns for First Lutheran. He rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown in five carries.

Daniel Calzada caught three passes for 45 yards for the Falcons.
