OUTLOOK

The Cavaliers have enough experience and talent to challenge Pacifica for the league title. They might also have the league's best quarterback in Dinh, who runs the option well but will be asked to pass more after the graduation of league MVP Ao Sualua. Soifua and Herrera, a transfer from Calvary Chapel, should give Santiago a solid backfield, but they will be running behind a young offensive line.

SCHEDULE

Sept. 8 vs. Orange at Garden Grove HS; 14 vs. Valencia at Garden Grove HS; 22 at Paramount; 29 at Irvine.

Oct. 6 vs. Rancho Alamitos at Bolsa Grande HS; 13 at Garden Grove; 20 vs. Santiago at Garden Grove HS; 26 vs. Bolsa Grande at Garden Grove HS.

Nov. 2 vs. Pacifica at Bolsa Grande HS; 9 vs. La Quinta at Garden Grove HS.
