Congregation Or Ami will have an installation ceremony for its new cantor and religious school director, Shari Preston at 8 p.m. Friday. Christina Shea, mayor of Irvine, will attend. Preston, an invested cantor, is certified as a principal by the National Board of Jewish Schools of North America. She holds a master's degree in Jewish education and has 25 years' experience. First Woman's Church will present a monthly Forgiveness Ritual for men, women and children "Healing Ritual of Forgiveness" from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday.
