San Fernando 29, Los Angeles 9--Ruben Nevarez completed 14 of 21 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns at San Fernando.

San Fernando trailed, 6-0, early in the first quarter when running back Bob Stanley finished a Tiger 14-play, 77-yard drive with a two-yard touchdown run.

Stanley finished with 115 yards in 17 carries.

Ramon Perry caught eight passes for 181 yards and scored on receptions of 74 and 41 yards.

Nevarez also connected with Ed Martinez on a 12-yard scoring strike.

San Fernando survived 17 penalties for 151 yards, including two infractions for language.
