Turkish police barred some passengers on a gay-oriented cruise from visiting the ancient ruins of Ephesus this month. In Kusadasi, after letting several buses with some of the Olympic Voyager's 800 passengers leave for Ephesus, police turned back at least two buses and chased others into the nearby town of Selcuk, forcing one to turn back, the tour organizer said. The move apparently came after police realized the passengers were gay, some tourists and crew members said. The mayor of Kusadasi later went to the ship to apologize. . . .
