Thailand: Capitals

William Geffrey, a lecturer and specialist in Asian cultures and former president of the advisory group to the Center for Pacific Asian Studies in Sacramento, will lead a tour to Thailand from Nov. 15 to 29. The tour will visit historical capitals of Thailand, including the archeological sites of Sukhothai and Ayuthaya and the capital of Bangkok. Also included are visits to tribal villages: Chiang Mai in northern Thailand and Chiang Rai, known for its cooler climate, indigenous communities and elephant camps.
