Germany Gets Back Against Argentina

Germany will get the chance for revenge over Britain in the playoff for fifth spot after unleashing a devastating second-half burst to beat Argentina, 6-2.

Germany's medal hopes disappeared at the hands of the British on Tuesday when they suffered a 2-1 defeat to deprive them of a place in the semifinals.

Argentina, who finished ninth in Atlanta, can improve two places on that effort by beating India, who lost to Britain, 2-1.

Spain 1, Malaysia 0--Spain beat Malaysia in a late scoring classification match at the State Hockey Centre.

South Korea 1, Pakistan 0--South Korea slipped past Pakistan in the semifinal round.
