Santa Paula 12, Oak Park 3--The Cardinals intercepted four passes and limited the Eagles to minus-seven rushing yards at Santa Paula.

Santa Paula's two second-quarter scores were set up by interceptions. After Mark Rabago's interception, the Cardinals (3-0-1) drove 60 yards and scored when John Wadkowski recovered teammate Javier Ramirez's fumble in the end zone. Ramirez had run from the four to the one, where he fumbled.

Two plays later, Matt Pedone returned an interception 38 yards to the Eagles' seven to set up Jacob Macias' 30-yard field goal, giving the Cardinals a 9-3 lead.

The Eagles (3-1) drove to the Santa Paula six-yard line with 22 seconds left, but Josh Walker threw four incomplete passes.

Walker completed 20 of 40 passes for 326 yards.
