CHAN HO PARK

(18-10, 3.27 ERA, in 2000)

vs.

BREWERS'

JAMEY WRIGHT

(7-9, 4.10 ERA, in 2000)

* Update--Wright, 26, will be making his first opening-day start. He was the Colorado Rockies' No. 3 starter entering the 1999 season and joined Milwaukee as part of a nine-player, four-team trade on Dec. 13, 1999. He began the 2000 season on the disabled list because of rotator-cuff injury. Wright is 2-4 with a 3.30 earned-run average in eight games against the Dodgers. In his lone appearance against the Dodgers last year, Wright did not earn a decision in the Brewers' 3-2 victory Aug. 30 at Milwaukee. He gave up two runs in eight innings while throwing a season-high 132 pitches. Wright, who had a 2.13 ERA in his seven victories, set a franchise record by hitting 18 batters.
