Agoura 6, Simi Valley 5--Paul Farinacci's two-out, two-run homer in the seventh gave the second-place Chargers (14-5, 6-2) a Marmonte League victory at Agoura.

Agoura was 7-17 and finished in last place last season.

Farinacci was four for four with two runs batted in.

Westlake 2, Moorpark 1--Tyler Carr's run-scoring single with one out in the 12th lifted the Warriors in a Marmonte League game at Westlake.

Tyler Adamczyk struck out 10 and allowed two hits in nine innings for Westlake (18-4-1, 7-1-1).

Robby Jaegge allowed one run and three hits in eight innings for Moorpark (12-8, 4-5).

Hart 8, Burbank 0--Eric Posthumus pitched a no-hitter for the Indians in a Foothill League game at Hart.

Posthumus (5-1) struck out 11 and walked one.

Bill Susdorf had two doubles and a home run for Hart (21-1, 10-1).

Quartz Hill 13, Palmdale 12--Dustin Petzold's single in the seventh drove in the winning run in a Golden League game at Quartz Hill (12-9, 8-3).

Hoover 6, Muir 0--Casey Langenberger pitched a no-hitter for the Tornadoes (9-11, 6-5) in his high school pitching debut in a Pacific League game at Muir. He struck out eight and walked one.

Notre Dame 8, Crespi 7--David Fox struck out Chris Gallo with the bases full in the seventh to save a Mission League victory at Notre Dame (8-11-1, 3-4-1).


Chaminade 2, Notre Dame 0--Shauna Johnson hit a two-run double and Christina Luppachini (8-3) threw a two-hitter as Eagles (9-6-1, 5-0) took the Mission League lead at Chaminade.

Notre Dame (14-5, 3-1) is ranked No. 5 in the region by The Times.

Nordhoff 5, Santa Clara 4--Dina Fragale stole home with two out in the seventh to give the Rangers (10-5, 5-4) a Frontier League victory at Santa Clara.
