A U.S. District Court judge has ordered the National Park Service to immediately reduce the number of cruise ships sailing to Glacier Bay National Park, one of Alaska's top tourist destinations.
The decision came after a February ruling by the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that found the Park Service erred when it allowed a 30% increase in summer cruise ship traffic in Glacier Bay without an environmental impact study.
