The Procession of Light will be Sunday at the Huntington Beach Pier Plaza as people of all faiths gather for a demonstration of unity.
The annual celebration takes on significance this year as participants gather to show their cooperation after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The procession begins at 3 p.m. and will include prayers by religious leaders and music by choirs and bands. As the sun sets, candle-carrying participants will walk down the pier led by a bagpipe band.
