* PACIFIC (13-8, 5-5) at UC IRVINE (18-3, 10-1), 5:30, Fox Sports Net 2, KUCI-FM (88.9)--UC Irvine's favorable schedule continues with the first of a five-game homestand against most of the teams in the bottom half of the nine-team Big West Conference. Utah State, tied for first place with the Anteaters, has three consecutive games on the road, beginning tonight at UC Santa Barbara. Once thought to be a contender, Pacific has lost three of its last four and hasn't played since Feb. 3, when it lost at home to UC Santa Barbara, 73-67. Irvine rallied from an 18-point deficit to beat the Tigers, 85-80, at Stockton in the conference opener.
