Valley Perspective

Auto Club Board

February 18, 2001

Re "A Crusader With a Legislative Agenda Sets His Sights on the Auto Club Board," Valley Perspective Interview, Jan. 28.

Slowly, let's sit back and watch every decent business that has always been nonpartisan become corrupt and distracted with political persuasion.

Slowly, let's sit back and watch every business make its decisions based only on the political outcome and political benefit.

Slowly, let's sit back and watch the prices that we pay for these services rise only to be siphoned off and used to benefit this new board's (if elected) views.

Slowly, let's sit back and watch the customer move aside to make way for the political parties, whichever they may be.

No, don't get up. Just slowly sit back and watch.

Isn't that what we do best?
