Toyota Holds Line on Light-Truck Prices

Toyota Motor Corp. kept U.S. prices the same on its 2002 4Runner sport-utility vehicle and most versions of the Tundra full-size pickup as the auto maker tries to boost U.S. light-truck sales.

Meanwhile, prices will rise an average of 0.4% on the Sequoia sport-utility vehicle, as much as 2.1% for the Camry Solara coupe and as much as 1.9% for the Solara convertible, Japan's largest auto maker said.

Toyota, which ranks fourth in U.S. sales, sold 380,957 light trucks in the first half, a 21% increase, while the auto maker's U.S. total rose 6.4% to 865,381 vehicles, according to Autodata Corp.
