Kids, here are some sayings you sent to us, together with what you think they mean.

* "Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise."

It depends on the man. If he is a sleepy man, he will go to bed early and wake up late. But sometimes, people who go to bed early do rise early, and it makes them healthy. I don't know about wealthy. Maybe it makes him rich because sleeping a lot gives him energy. When it says "wise," I don't think it's true.

* "I am rubber, you are glue, whatever you say or do bounces off me and sticks to you."

It teaches people to treat others how you want to be treated.

--Chelsea, 10, Macy

Elementary, La Habra

* "You can't see the forest for the trees."

It means you are too close to the problem to solve it.
