SAVING THE UNBORN: A seminar on legal and peaceful methods of saving the lives of the unborn through prayer and counseling will be held today from 2 to 4 p.m. at Christ Community Church, 7911 Winnetka Ave., Winnetka. Information: (818) 345-6330.

CHRISTIAN PRAYER: A Lectio Divina and centering prayer session, a Christian tradition of prayer that seeks to develop a friendship with Christ by using scripture texts as topics of conversation, will be held Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon at Holy Spirit Retreat Center, 4316 Lanai Road, Encino.
