Don Henley does a guest vocal stint on "Inside Out," a song on Trisha Yearwood's next album, due June 5, and the two will perform together April 21 at a Dallas benefit for the Yellow Rose Foundation, which funds multiple sclerosis research. Yearwood's album also will feature vocals by Vince Gill, Rosanne Cash (on Cash's '80s hit "Seven Year Ache"), Kim Richey and Andrew Gold. . . .

Bonnie Raitt is featured on vocals (in Portuguese) on the new album by Cape Verde world music star Cesaria Evora. The album, "Sao Vicente," due June 5, is Evora's first from the Windham Hill label. . . .

Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Nanci Griffith, Steve Earle, John Prine, Guy Clark and the Cowboy Junkies are among the Texas (and Texas-influenced) participants on "Poet: A Tribute to Townes Van Zandt," honoring the singer-songwriter who died in 1997. The album is due in late July. . . .

Nona Gaye, daughter of the late Marvin Gaye, has concentrated mostly on modeling since releasing a well-received album nearly 10 years ago. But now she's signed with manager Doc McGhee (whose clients have included KISS, Bon Jovi and Motley Crue) for both film and music representation. She's currently filming a role as Muhammad Ali's second wife in "Ali," starring Will Smith, and is negotiating with several major labels for a new deal, with an album possible later this year. . . .

Irish pop stars the Corrs will collaborate with Spanish star Alejandro Sanz under the guidance of producer David Foster in May. They plan an English version of "Me Ire," a song on Sanz's latest album, and a Spanish adaptation of the Corrs' "One Night." The sessions will take place in May during Sanz's U.S. tour, which includes a May 11 date at the Universal Amphitheatre.
