USC, UCLA to Face Off in Planning Contest

USC hopes to even the score with UCLA on April 5 when business students from the two schools square off at the fourth annual urban planning competition sponsored by the Southern California chapter of the National Assn. of Industrial and Office Properties.

UCLA holds a 2-1 lead in the competition, called the NAIOP SoCal Real Estate Challenge, which will be held this year in the PacifiCenter at the Long Beach Visitor Center at 3855 Lakewood Blvd. in Long Beach.

The contest will pit a team from USC's Marshall School of Business against a team from UCLA's Anderson School of Business.

The event will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner, the student presentations and the naming of the winning team.
