"Recently I have been enjoying Syrahs from Europe, Australia and California more and more. I think they complement most foods very well. One of my most memorable experiences is of the Grant Burge Holy Trinity from Barossa Valley, Australia. It has a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre and is a very forward wine but, at the same time, has layers of fruit and oak that build into a lasting impression-a really big mouthful of wine."
