Jon Horwitz doubled twice and Glendale College defeated Riverside, 9-5, in a Southern California regional baseball game Saturday at Riverside.
Glendale (32-10), seeded No. 6, advanced to today's final of the four-team, double-elimination tournament.
Riverside (38-7), seeded No. 3 and the defending state champion, defeated Cerritos, 5-1, in an elimination game on Saturday and needs to defeat Glendale twice today to advance to the second round next weekend.
The first game is at noon.
