Olson Trial Hearing Postponed Till Dec. 3

A Superior Court hearing was set for Dec. 3 on Sara Jane Olson's request to withdraw her guilty plea on charges of attempting to bomb two LAPD vehicles in 1975.

The postponement was requested by the accused Symbionese Liberation Army member's defense lawyers, according to a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. It had been set for Nov. 28.

Olson, who was arrested in 1999, pleaded guilty Oct. 31. Earlier this week, Olson filed a motion asking the judge to let her withdraw her plea and go to trial. Prosecutors oppose the motion.
