The latest tally of the Nov. 6 election indicates a $25-million Palmdale school bond measure may have passed, Los Angeles County officials said Monday.
Measure W, which would raise funds to build two new schools, needs 55% of the vote to win. An unofficial county tally Nov. 7 had it getting 54.78%. On Monday, a spokeswoman was "99% sure" all ballots were accounted for. It had 55.2% of the 6,971 votes cast.
