2 Gamblers Sue Over Cheating Allegations

November 27, 2001|From Times Wire Reports

Two gamblers have sued Park Place Entertainment Corp. and its Caesars Palace resort on the Las Vegas Strip, alleging they were wrongfully accused of cheating and were improperly arrested.

Michael Russo and James Grosjean also said they were named in the Griffin Book, which they call a "black book" listing notorious gamblers that is published and distributed by Griffin Investigations Inc.

The plaintiffs said they legitimately won about $18,000 playing three-card poker at Caesars in April because they were playing against a weak dealer, the Las Vegas Sun reported.
