Apple to Sell iPod Digital Music Player

Apple Computer Inc. unveiled a portable digital music device that holds 1,000 digitally recorded songs. The MP3 player, called iPod, works only on Macs running Apple's operating systems and its iTunes 2 music software. The device is expected to be available Nov. 10 and will cost $399.
