A retired Yugoslav army general pleaded innocent to murder and war crimes charges stemming from the bombardment of the Croatian coastal city of Dubrovnik in 1991.
Pavle Strugar, who surrendered to the U.N. war crimes court in the Netherlands this week, is accused of commanding a three-month offensive that destroyed nearly 70% of the 17th century city.
