John Caffrey resigned as football coach and athletic director at Downey Calvary Chapel High on Sept. 6, citing personal differences with the administration.
Caffrey led the Grizzlies to a 17-6 record in his two seasons as coach. Steve Clark, the school's highly successful wrestling coach, took over as football coach.
