The Santa Monica Mountains National Recreational Area is about to lose its best and strongest protector. Congressman Brad Sherman (D-Sherman Oaks) has been its most ardent supporter since the recreation area's beginnings in 1978.
Redistricting honorable Congressman Sherman out of the recreation area's zone will be a great loss for our national park.
