Horses and Beer: Santa Anita racetrack holds a microbrew festival on its Derby Day. Twenty Southern California breweries such as Stone Brewing Co., Main Street Brewery, Indian Wells Brewery and Lost Coast Brewery showcase their beers at $2 per cup. 11 a.m. On the west end of the Infield, Santa Anita Park, 285 W. Wine Auction: L.A. Shanti, a not-for-profit organization offering counseling and education to people with HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses, holds its 11th annual wine tasting and silent auction. Wines from California, Chile, Australia, Spain, France and Italy are sampled. About 25 restaurants, including Josie, the Lobster, La Boheme, the Peninsula Grill and Ocean Avenue Seafood, offer tastes of food. 1 to 5 p.m. The Museum of Flying, at the Santa Monica Airport, 2772 Donald Douglas Loop North, Santa Monica.
