A self-employed appliance repairman from Louisiana claimed a $48-million Powerball jackpot, saying he would retire and take a long honeymoon with his fiancee.

"I said to myself, 'Self, you're not working anymore,' " said Jerry Berggren, 54, who also told his only employee he was shutting down.

Berggren said he and Cathy DeMuynck may buy a house and a fishing boat, and share the winnings with relatives and friends.

The jackpot was $48 million, but Berggren and DeMuynck claimed the lump-sum prize of $26,072,769--$17,729,483 after taxes.
