First O.C. Music Award Winners

Wonderlove and Scarlet Crush were double winners at the first Orange County Music Awards held Saturday in Santa Ana.

Wonderlove was voted best indie rock group and best live band, while Scarlet Crush took honors for best pop-rock group and best song for "Something to Say."

The 14 winners at the Galaxy Concert Theatre included: Flood in the category of international music, Common Sense (world music), the Reventlos (roots), Project 86 (rock), Limbeck (punk-pop), Walter Trout (blues-R&B-rap), Rare Form Band (jazz) and Boomer McKlennan (out of county).

Awards for individual performers went to Ashley Bee (female performer) and Tim Moyer (male performer).
