He's Not Down With This Count

April 06, 2002

Let's just hope that R.J. Deakins doesn't have a high-level position with the Census Department (Viewpoint, March 31). The city of Los Angeles had a population of approximately 3.7 million, according to the 2000 census, for which any mayor of Los Angeles would have responsibility. When we do get to "more than 9 million," then I too will be living in Temecula.
