Six From Southland Make Parade Team

Noelle Quinn, selected The Times' girls' basketball player of the year after leading Torrance Bishop Montgomery to its third state title in a row, has been chosen a Parade All-American.

Joining Quinn, a junior, on the magazine's 26th All-American team are senior Tye'sha Fluker of Pasadena Muir, senior Alexis Kendrick of Playa del Rey St. Bernard, senior Janice Bright of Lynwood, senior Willnet Crockett of Harbor City Narbonne and senior Courtney LaVere of Ventura Buena.

The 40-member team will be published Sunday in Parade.
