How they got here: Philadelphia routed Tampa Bay, 31-9, in a wild-card playoff game. Chicago received a bye after winning the NFC Central.

2001 meetings: None. Bears lead the all-time series, 25-7-1, but have lost the last two meetings, including a 13-9 loss at Philadelphia in 2000.

2001 common opponents: Philadelphia split its season series with Arizona; Chicago beat Arizona, 20-13. Philadelphia beat Minnesota, 48-17; Chicago beat Minnesota twice, 17-10 and 13-6. Philadelphia split its season series with Washington; Chicago beat Washington, 20-15. Philadelphia and Chicago each beat Tampa Bay twice.

About Philadelphia: The Eagles will go as far as Donovan McNabb takes them. "He makes everyone around him better and that's what you have got to have going down the stretch." Tight end Chad Lewis said. "He's got a lot of confidence. We feed off of that.... He is a great leader for our team."

About Chicago: The Bears have been the surprise of the NFL and their defense gave up the fewest points of any team, allowing 13.2 a game. They will be tested by McNabb, but they have passed every test thrown their way this season.
