January 16, 2002|Bloomberg News

News Corp.'s Fox television network is expected to lose as much as $20 million on its broadcast of the Super Bowl as coverage of the Winter Olympics by General Electric Co. unit NBC competes for advertising dollars, ABN Amro analyst Spencer Wang wrote in a report.

Fox said in November that it expected more than $200 million in ad sales from its 91/2 hours of Super Bowl coverage Feb. 3.

Fox Entertainment shares fell 67 cents to close at $24.45 on the NYSE.
