San Francisco Tasting: The International Olive Oil Council, the James Beard Foundation and Copia: The American Center for Wine, Food & the Arts in Napa present a food and wine tasting. (It comes after a conference on Tunisian olive oil.) Participating chefs from the Bay Area include Bridget Batson from Hawthorne Lane, Ken Frank from La Toque, Mark Franz from Farallon, Dennis Leary from Rubicon, Bradley Ogden from One Market and Jason Miller from Moose's Restaurant. 5:30 p.m. City Club of San Francisco, 155 Sansome St., 10th floor, San Francisco. All-Time Faves: The Epicurean School of Culinary Arts holds this class annually to feature some of the best recipes from its cooking classes over the past 15 years.
