* New This Week: Director Maria Ripoll and screenwriters Ramon Menendez, Tom Musca and Vera Blasi have stirred a fine "Tortilla Soup," transposing Ang Lee's 1994 Oscar-nominated "Eat Drink Man Woman" from Taipei to East Los Angeles with the greatest of ease. Hector Elizondo heads a terrific ensemble cast as a long-widowed eminent chef and traditional patriarch who needs to let go of his grown daughters (Jacqueline Obradors, Elizabeth Pena and Tamara Mello). With a scene-stealing Raquel Welch as a husband-hunting glamour puss. Warm, funny and wise, the film is worth sipping.
