Crunchy Corn Puffs

January 30, 2002|Donna Deane

Tumaro's crunchy baked snacks are made from organic corn. They're kosher, contain no hydrogenated oils and have half the fat of regular potato chips. Twenty-two chips have 110 calories. There are four flavors: natural corn, Cheddar, tangy BBQ and ranch & herb. Eat them as is or use them for dippers with your favorite recipes.

The Built-in Colander

This 5-quart nonstick stockpot from Meyer Corp. has a lock-on lid with large holes on one side and small holes on the other for easy straining of hot pasta and vegetables. Call it a stockpot with a colander lid--no colander is needed. The handles are oven-safe to 350 degrees, though you'll need potholders for removing hot pots from the oven.

Circulon 5-quart covered Straining Stockpot, $100, from select Macy's stores.
