Orange County Home Sales

July 18, 2002

The median home price surged last month to a record $359,000, or 19% more than a year earlier. The monthly gain in prices is the largest year-over-year increase since May 1989. Sales also rose 9% to 4,792. Here are sales, median prices and median prices per square foot for new and resold houses and condominiums by ZIP Code:
