Woodcock Calls It Quits at KCBS

May 08, 2002|Greg Braxton

David Woodcock, vice president and general manager of Viacom-owned KCBS-TV Channel 2, resigned Tuesday, nine months after he joined the station after his departure from KCOP-TV Channel 13.

Executives said Woodcock was leaving to pursue other interests. He could not be reached for comment.

Don Corsini, general manager of KCAL-TV Channel 9, will take over at KCBS and manage both stations, executives said.

Viacom has a pending $650-million agreement to add KCAL to its holdings.
