October 13, 2002|BOB MIESZERSKI

With one win apiece, Rail Skimmer and Coolmore will meet for the third time in tonight's $15,000 Calyx Handicap at 870 yards.

Owned by Ed Allred and trained by Kelly Lewis, Rail Skimmer is the one to catch in the Calyx and will break from post 6 in the field of seven, directly inside Coolmore.

Rounding out the lineup are quarter horses Seeks Joy, Bcr Get Bac Jac and Azure Classic Star, thoroughbred More Red and appaloosa Sell Short.

Owned by Wayne and Laura Lukas and trained by the latter, Coolmore has won three of five since being stretched out to 870 yards. He will be ridden for the first time by Ramon Sanchez.
