Political Fair Play

October 20, 2002

It seems ironic to me that Republicans have been so vocal in their condemnation of Gov. Gray Davis' ability to raise money. Among the voting public, it is Democrats who are overwhelmingly in favor of getting money out of politics and Republicans who fight so hard to retain the status quo. They should stop complaining about the fact that the Democratic candidate used their system to far better effect than their candidate did.

If you don't like the system, stop fighting those who want to change it.
