Ducks Tonight

October 29, 2002|Chris Foster

at Montreal, 4:30 p.m.

Site -- Molson Centre.

Radio -- KPLS (830), joined in progress.

Records -- Ducks 2-5-2-0, Canadiens 3-3-2-0.

Record vs. Canadiens (2001-02) -- 0-1-0-0.

Update -- The Canadiens have an expensive goalie controversy. Jose Theodore, who signed a three-year, $16.5-million contract, has a 4.38 goals-against average. Jeff Hackett, who was the NHL's highest paid backup at $3.5-million, has handled the job recently. The Ducks recalled center Jason Krog and defenseman Chris O'Sullivan from minor league Cincinnati and demoted defenseman Josh DeWolf. Krog and O'Sullivan are likely to play tonight, as the Ducks are banged up with nagging injuries. Center Adam Oates (broken hand) and defenseman Pavel Trnka (strained groin) are on injured reserve.
