Girls' Tennis

Unbeaten Beverly Hills, which has been without No. 1 player Riza Zalameda as she focuses on international and junior-circuit play, took over the No. 2 spot with sophomore Tessa Tran leading the way. Corona del Mar, though, has struggled without star Anne Yelsey, who sat out a tight victory over Laguna Beach and a loss to Dana Hills last week. Dana Hills moved up one spot to No. 5 with a strong rebound from the loss of freshman standout Sarah Fansler. The Dolphins are showing they're still good after decisive victories over Trabuco Hills and Mission Viejo, and an impressive 12-6 victory over Corona del Mar.
