Monday: The Democratic Party of Ventura County holds its annual Labor Day picnic from noon until 3:30 p.m. at Oxnard Beach Park, 1601 S. Harbor Blvd. Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for students; and $7 for children 6 to 12. For reservations and more information, call 482-7452.
